Is the abdominal muscles actual cut during the c-section?
And is it possible to tighten and flatten my stomach after 2 C-sections?

In a routine operation, the abdominal cavity is entered by going between the rectus or abdominal muscles. An instrument called a rectractor is then placed between the muscles and is opened to spread the muscles apart. "Cherny" or "Maylard" incisions are rarely used in caesarean, but do involve either cutting the muscles or releasing them from their lower attachment to the pubic bone.
Specific strengthening exercises can be used for abdominal muscles. "Flattening" the stomach may involve decreasing the fat layer between skin and muscle. Commonly the bikini line skin incision is drawn in by scar tissue onto the deeper layers giving the appearance of a bulge above it. This can sometimes be freed up at the next operation.
