Hi,
I bought your question / topic up here so it would not get lost on the end of the other one.
My circumstance is a little different from you in that I had a csec then 2 VBACs.
I thought after my first VBAC that I had "proved" myself but was dismayed how many of the medical fraternity still wanted to treat me like a piece of crystal - despite the fact I was able to show them that the risk of uterine rupture was lower after an already successful VBAC and despite also being able to show them that the chances of success of VBAC were greater if a woman had already had a vaginal birth (either before or after her csec).
I was lucky in that I am a bossy cow and I bullied my way into getting just about everything I wanted with my 2nd VBAC including a water birth.
I know of women who have been told that having had a vaginal birth before increases their risk of uterine rupture - this is a load of tripe and I could not find one medical study that supported this proposition.
My feeling is that many of the medical fraternity want us to birth to their timetable so will use any little excuse to induce and/or csec us or at least to exhurt some control over how and when we birth.
Be confident that having had prior vaginal births you are in one of the best categories for a vaginal delivery this time around, success rate for women with a prior vaginal is over 90%.

hi debby, thanks for the reply. i am feeling like i am entering a whole new world now that i have had one c-sect. i can not believe how many people say that i should have another c-sect now "because the last one was". i know i can have a vaginal birth, ive had two! i am wondering how to put this forward to my local hospital- so i can go into labour and "see what happens". i know i had to have my son by c-sect- i had no choice- his life was in danger, and i would do it again if this turns out the same way. (who wouldnt) but i feel very strongly about trying for vaginal birth- if all is going well. i am going to have to be a "pushy cow" lol to get what i want when i come against these male doctors who think once a c-sect always a s-sect. also..is it important for me to know what kind of cut they did as my son was prem?
