Hi,
I have posted previously, a few months ago, not knowing whether to try for VBAC or not. Anyways... I had made the decision "yes, I'm definitely going to try".... but now it is getting closer to the arrival date, I am getting myself all twisted about. I have read the articles on this site, and also had some information sent out to me, so I am informed... but that's just it... a few people are saying I shouldn't take the risk, but inevitably the decision is up to me... trouble is, I am getting so undecided in myself.
I guess the question is... if I am so undecided, is it not worth taking the risk... or do most women feel like this at some stage. I know u don't know me from a bar of soap, but basically I worry about every little thing -- especially the unknown -- and have never been a risk taker... I don't know what I would do if my baby was to die/severe problems just so I could satisfy my own needs... know what I mean?
Well... any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. Fiona

Hi Fiona
It is very normal for women planning a vbac to feel the way you are at the moment. I think it is so unfortunate because all the research out there suggests that it is perfectly ok to attempt a vaginal birth after a previous caesarean. Stay true to yourself and listen to your inner voice. Remember you and your baby are in tune with one another.
All the Best
