I'm nearly 8 weeks pregnant. I've noticed that although my breasts are still full, they have become less sore this week. Is this usual? I had expected the soreness to increase not decrease. I've had no spotting and an early ultrasound showeed the heartbeat to be strong (@ 6 weeks). I don't have morning sickness yet but do have insomnia and tiredness. Am I worrying unnnecessarily that something has gone wrong?

Dear Hexham
Breast tenderness is a very individual thing, and varies considerably from woman to woman. Some women experience marked breast tenderness and others not-so marked, and nipple soreness is not uncommon either. If you are otherwise well and still feel pregnant, there should be no cause for worry. However if you are troubled or concerned about anything, please don't hesitate to contact your doctor.
