Rose I just wanted to say how pleased I am that we have a midwife on board to answer the ladies queries.

Many women do not realise just what professionals and experts our midwives are and do not realise that you clever ladies are just as up with the latest studies and writings as the doctors whilst at the same time seem to offer a far more human and less production line approach to our births.

My midwives were an absolute necessity to my two VBACs and I hope that the discoveries the ladies here make from your wisdom can help them to attain satisfaction however they choose to birth their babies.

Many thanks for your kind words Debby. Midwifery ia a (long term and time) passion of mine! So too is VBAC. I have been present for two amazing VBAC births recently - long labours, and very hard, but the women told me they would do it all again tomorrow, just the same!
