Birthrites: Healing After Caesarean Inc. holds support group meetings twice a month.

They are informal gatherings of women who have had a caesarean birth, are planning a vaginal birth after caesarean birth or are planning a positive caesarean birth.

We hear other women share their birth experience, talk with and gain empathy from like-minded women about caesarean and vaginal birth and have the opportunity to share our own experiences.

We learn about the choices we have in birth, ways to experience birthing differently and ways to plan and prepare an empowered birth whether it is a vaginal or surgical delivery.

There is an opportunity to borrow books, videos and Cd's from our library to help you in you healing and birthing journey along with a range of brochures, handouts and other literature related to empowered births.

Birthrites Coregroup Members are at the meetings all of whom have had a previous caesarean section.

Children are ALWAYS welcome. We have toys and a play area available.
